Truckman, the Dudley-based manufacturer of pick-up and 4x4 upgrades and accessories, has achieved a record-breaking number of fittings in 2024.
Truckman, the Dudley-based manufacturer of pick-up and 4x4 upgrades and accessories, has achieved a record-breaking number of fittings in 2024.
The business, which has been operating from Black Country base since 1987, saw the number of fittings being carried out by its technicians rise by nearly 30% last year, compared with 2023.
The surge in demand is attributed to Truckman’s expanded range of accessories and upgrades, bolstered by its acquisition by ARB, the Australian off-road adventure brand, as well as the introduction of off-site fittings. This enhanced flexibility enables customers to access Truckman’s services more conveniently than ever, broadening its reach and strengthening its presence in the adventure and camping sectors.
While Truckman’s core products - such as hardtops, canopies, bed liners, mats, and tonneau covers - remain integral, ARB’s camping solutions, lighting, and electrical accessories have significantly contributed to this growth. The fully equipped Dudley showroom has also played a key role in showcasing these expanded offerings.
